How are you communicating with your students?
Nowadays it seems like everyone (and their dog!) is on Facebook. With over 1.86 billion monthly active users, Facebook continues to be the reigning champ of social media networks. Many schools use Facebook as their main source of social media communication with their campus population; however, while it is the fan favorite across generations, a recent report suggests that it is becoming more popular with an older crowd.
The youngest segment of Millennials (age 18-24)- most likely, the main average age of your student body, give the edge to Instagram, citing it as their top network, closely followed by Facebook and SnapChat.
